Our Endowment provides funding for local and international projects every year. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which operates separately from our club and is managed by a Board of Directors which oversees the distribution of money to the club.
Established in 1993 by Past Presidents of Novato Rotary, Darrell Scott, Russ Ketron, Gary Bramon, and Clark Palmer, the Endowment annually distributes un-allocated funds to each of our club’s committees.
Once these committees (Community Services, World Services, Environmental Sustainability, and Youth Services) receive funds from the Endowment, they are dedicated to demonstrating “Service Above Self” by sourcing a variety of projects.
Additionally, the Endowment helps support Rotary International’s fight to rid the world of Polio and provides Novato's graduating high school students with over $70,000 in scholarships each year.
The Rotary Club of Novato, financially supported by the Endowment, always considers ideas for future local and international projects. You can make a project proposal using this form.
